The tunes played during the broadcast were: Panama, Trombone Preaching Blues, Ain’t Cha Got Music?, Sensation Rag, When It’s Sleepy Time Down South and St. Louis Blues.

For ten months during 1947, Rudi Blesh hosted the radio program “This Is Jazz”, which originated in WOR’s New York studios, then located at 1440 Broadway, New York, for broadcast on the Mutual Radio Network, the Canadian Broadcasting Commission, and the State Department’s short-wave frequencies.
