Publicity photograph, probably taken in the Bloom photograph studio in Chicago, c. 1927 All publications of this photograph stem from a copy that Morton dedicated to his favourite clarinet player Omer Simeon (1902-1959), who was born in New Orleans, but trained in Chicago.
